The Maine Coon is known for its large size, easygoing temperament, and rugged appearance, also known as the "gentle giant" of the cat family.

Females typically weigh 9-12 pounds

Males weigh 13-18 pounds with some males exceeding 20 pounds

A Maine Coon's long hair does not need much grooming. A weekly combing is usually all that is required to keep the fur in top condition.

The Maine Coon is America's only native long-haired cat, well suited to withstand the harsh New England climate.

CFA Champion Cabincoon Phoenix of ICOONS is a beautiful Red W/White Classic Tabby Maine Coon. He comes from Cabincoon Cattery which is one of the finest Maine Coon Catteries in North America. We are so pleased to have the opportunity to work with Cabincoon and to have this beautiful boy as our first breeding male. Phoenix was born on 12/7/06 and will begin his adult show career in January where we are sure he will wow the judges and attendees. Check back frequently for updates on his progress!

Y1Kat BarCode is a very typey Brown Mackerel Tabby boy. He is the quintessential Maine Coon with a beautiful "wild" look. Don't let his looks fool you as he is very loving and affectionate and adores to lay in your lap while you work on the computer or watch TV. He does love to play with the cursor!
